Rhythm refers to how your eye catches the attention of a garment or an outfit. Rhythm can be button in a line, lines, patterns or textures creating an appearance.

For my first example on the left there are many types of rhythm. The buttons going down the middle of her creates 2 lines on both sides of the buttons, then we have the collar which creates 2 horizontal lines. The 2 zippers on each side creates 2 vertical lines, also the 2 pockets on the top of her.
